Planted and propagated Glacier’s native plants in many ecosystems using appropriate restoration techniques, used various keys to identify native species and invasives in the backcountry, determined species seed numbers per gram for all species used in restoration work in Glacier, spent many nights backcountry camping, hiking upwards of 15 miles a day over difficult terrain.

 

Research Associate, worked under hydrologist. May 2003- August 2003. Gardiner. MT. Monitored the effects of grazing on willow and aspen populations in and near Yellowstone National Park by using transects and determining preferentially grazed plant species, installed wells, piezometers, tensiometers and pressure bombed, recorded data in Microsoft Excel.
